In the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, a lawsuit has been filed by Dasia Thompson against Delta Personnel, Inc. The case ID is 2:24-cv-01042-WBV-MBN and it was filed on April 24, 2024. The plaintiff alleges violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Equal Pay Act of 1963.

Ms. Thompson began her employment with Delta in May 2022 as a setup crew member at the New Orleans Ernest N. Memorial Convention Center. On June 5, 2022, she was assigned to work in a different phase by her supervisor Dannisha which led to an alleged hostile work environment.

The complaint states that Delta failed to provide Ms. Thompson with a safe environment due to her sex and alleges instances of sexual harassment towards females in the workplace. The plaintiff claims that had she been male, Delta would have provided her with a safe environment.

Thompson is seeking judgment against Delta Personnel for violations of civil rights laws and equitable relief under various Acts of Congress providing for protection of civil rights. She alleges that the defendant's actions have caused damages but no specific amount has been mentioned in this document.
